The digital viscosity meter arrives securely packed in a sturdy box. Upon opening, we find the instrument body, stand assembly and various accessories kept neatly separated to prevent damage. The stand assembly further consists of base and vertical pole sections. Let us remove them one by one and keep aside.



Next, we take out the hanging plate, screws and other mounting hardware from the box. Temperature probe, power cable, spindles in sealed pouches and operating manual are also present. Finally, we retrieve the locking keyset at the bottom of the packaging material.



Now that all the parts are laid out in an organized manner, let us understand their purpose before starting the assembly steps.



Components and Their Functions



The instrument body houses the digital display, control interface and spindle attachment port. It enables viewing test parameters, readings and operations handling.
